Gomma welcomes you to the First Gomma Get Published.

Gomma Get Published is the international competition that gives you the  chance to turn your unpublished photo-book dummy into a successful book  publication, presented by Gomma Publishing Ltd.

You can submit between 30 to 70 images or a PDF project of the book, (or both).
               Any genre: portraiture/ documentary/ fine art/ street/ photojournalism/ conceptual/ landscape etc.

Fully AI-generated images are not allowed.

               1 | Submission guidelines - IMAGES:
               • 30 to 70 images at 72 dpi (JPGs: Greyscale or sRGB/ RGB duotone)    
               • Minimum 2000 pixels on the longest size.    
               • A short description of the work.     
               • An artist statement.  (optional)   
               • A short biography/ resume. (optional)   
• Please name your images as follow: Name-Surname-imageNumber.jpg - example: Eugene-Smith-01.Jpg, Eugene-Smith-02.Jpg ...
 

                  2 | Submission guidelines - PDF:

                 • Please upload a one single PDF, containing your book project.

                 • Please export the PDF as spread/ double pages (not single pages)

                 • Please export it in low res.

               2 | Brief FAQ:
 

• Are multiple entries allowed? Yes, you are allowed to submit more than one entry, if the images are from different bodies of work.
• Are AI generated images allowed? I'm afraid, they are not.
• What type of work? Any genre. Documentary/ portraiture/ conceptual/ landscapes etc.
• Can I submit fewer than 30 images? That wouldn't be possible. Minimum images requirement is 30.
• Can I submit more than 70 images? Yes, you can submit more than 70 images for an extra fee.
• I started this 'ongoing' project long time ago, can I still submit it? Yes, it does not matter when you started the work.
• Is it possible to edit submissions? Editing submissions is allowed only for the FINAL deadline.
• Do you accept joint submissions? Yes, if you create a work with another photographer you can submit jointly.
• Is there an age limit? No. However, if you are under 18 please make sure the images are in line with current regulations.
• Do I need to add captions/ titles for each image? No. Titles and captions are not compulsory.
• When will the book be published? It will be launched in Winter 2025.

               3 | Deadlines:
 

• FIRST Deadline: Monday 16 June 2025 = submission fee €29 
• FINAL Deadline: Monday 14 July 2025 = submission fee €50
